Shortcuts to change text size
- Ctrl+Shift+> (Cmd+Shift+>): Increase text by 2 points
- Ctrl+Shift+< (Cmd+Shift+<): Decrease text by 2 points
Convert Text to Outlines
- Ctrl+O (Cmd+O)
Cool Shapes
- Hold down the “~” key and use any of the shape tools. Works best with a stroke color and no fill.
Scribble Effect
- Create any shape, then go to Effect > Stylize > Scribble. There will be a list of interesting and fun options to choose from, eg. Zig-Zag, Sketch, or Childlike.
