Shapes from Text
Select your text, go to Layer > Create Shapes from Text
Improve Preview Quality
Go to Preferences > General and select the Viewer Quality to More Accurate setting
Add Clip to Composition
You can use the shortcut Mac (Cmd+/) or Windows (Ctrl+/) instead of dragging footage to a composition.
Automate to Sequence
Select the clips you want. Go to File > New Comp (or you can right click and select the option ‘New Comp from Selection’) You can then click ‘Single Composition’, ‘Sequence Layers’ and ‘Overlap’ if you want a dissolve.
